Oscar & Fatema’s Wedding in St Albans

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Ceremony: The Gatehouse, St Albans Registry Office, St Albans, Hertfordhshire

Reception: Sopwell House Hotel, St Albans, Hertfrodshire

Oscar & Fatema were married on a damp October day. They had a lovely ceremony whith lots of details including the exchange of coins and Fatema also sang to Oscar. I have some amazing photographs of this special day and I know that Oscar & Fatem’s album will bring back all the wonderful memories from their wedding day.

Stephanie and Rachel’s Civil Partnership

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

I photographed Stephanie and Rachel’s civil partnership at The Bury, Hemel Hempstead’s Register Office, Hertfordshire. I often don’t meet my couples before their wedding day and so I hadn’t met Stephanie and Rachel, but we had got to know each other very well with chats on the telephone and also via email. They both arrived together and were so excited about making their civil partnership commitment to eachother.

I mentioned in a previous post about the wedding of Lucie and Marco, that theirs was the smallest and most intimate wedding I had photographed. Stephanie and Rachel’s civil partnership also was very intimate with only two very close friends as witnesses.
