Paul & Miranda’s Wedding

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Paul & Miranda were married in a beautiful church in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Their wedding reception was held in a magnificent marquee in Berkhamsted, herts also. They were such a sweet couple who were childhood sweethearts and their romance had carried on into their adult years. I shot a lot of gorgeous wedding photography on their special day. Here are a few of my favourite images.

The Wedding of Miranda & Paul, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

Monday, November 10th, 2008

On a beautiful sunny day in August I shot the wedding photography for Miranda and Paul in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The ceremony was held at All Saints Church, Berkhamsted and the reception was held in a gorgeous marquee.

I love shooting wedding photography in Churches. They hold so much atmosphere and history and I really think this comes across in the photographs. The lighting may be dim but it always looks amazing especially when it streams through the church windows.

Miranda and Paul had been together since school and on this special day all their photo albums were displayed so that guests could giggle at the images and also look back through their history so far. I had a lot of fun flicking through the photo albums and realised just how important a visual record of their wedding day would be.

I like both images above but in particular the one where Miranda whispers to Paul. In post processing I have given this wedding photograph a slight orange tint, increased contrast and firmed up blacks to give the photograph some punch. I really feel the orange adds to the warm atmosphere and I love how the light hits the edge of Mirandas hair, giving a glowing outline and defining shape.
